Timmy and Darline both traveled to the city of Portland Oregon seeking adventure. One went with some friends and another went on their own. Both falling for the whimsical charm that Portland had to offer. Both returning home hoping to find someone special to spend the rest of their lives with. Dating in the 21st century, they created an OKCupid profile and happen to match.
Timmy saw Darline had taken a photo in Portland at the famous Voodoo Doughnuts. Messaging her that he too has been to Voodoo Doughnuts and was not impressed (hoping to break the ice). She responded in kind. The doughnuts were okay but not amazing. Kicking off endless hours of conversation until they decided to take a leap of faith and meet each other in person at Klatch Coffee. Leading to countless adventures together. Taking the train to Los Angeles together from Claremont. Flying off to Chicago, Illinois. Road trips to San Francisco. Visiting Vietnam.
Finally ready to make it official!

Timmy originally wanted to propose in Portland Oregon, March 2020. COVID-19 and the great pandemic lockdown of 2020 ruined those plans.
Unable to wait any longer, Timmy proposed at Klatch Coffee where he Darline had originally met for the first time.
